Virtual program experiments and activities may vary slightly -but guaranteed to be fun, engaging and meet curriculum standards.

Standards Key

Funky ForcesFunky Forces (VIRTUAL or In-School)
Catch a notion of “loco-Motion” in this tug-o-war of forces. Jr Physicists will build a magnetic car that can attract, repel, push and pull! Learn more about forces as we launch rockets and feel why balance is so important.
Essential Standard: 1.P.1.1, 1.P.1.2, 1.P.1.3, K.P.1.2: Understand how forces (pushes or pulls) affect the motion of an object.

Astro AdventuresAstro Adventures (VIRTUAL or In-School)
Have a blast and join us on this outer space adventure. Explore the fascinating features of our moon and play with lunar soil. Create a constellation projector and investigate more astronomical fun experiments!
Essential Standard: 1.E.1.1, 1.E.1.2: Recognize the features and patterns of the earth/moon/sun system as observed from Earth.

Soil Rocks MineSoil Rocks! (VIRTUAL or In-School)
“Get the dirt” on soil and its super soaking powers. Junior Geologists will excavate for real rocks and minerals while exploring useful earth materials. Sort, test, polish… and keep everything you find!
Essential Standard: 1.E.2.1, 1.E.2.2: Understand the physical properties of Earth materials that make them useful in different ways.

snail familyLiving Lab (VIRTUAL or In-School)
Living, breathing, eating, seeding… an environmental excursion for everyone! Explore the needs of plants and animals, then make-n-take a mini-habitat in this Living Lab Adventure! Even dig through owl pellets to investigate what your owl ate for dinner last night.
Essential Standard: 1.L.1.1, 1.L.1.2, 1.L.1.3, 1.L.2.1, 1.L.2.2: Understand the characteristics of various environments and behaviors of humans that enable plants and animals to survive. Summarize the needs of living organisms for energy and growth.
