Science Fun for Everyone! has partnered up with Duke Pediatric Blood & Marrow Transplant Program to provide free hands-on science experiments for the patients who are hospitalized in this unit. The patients range from age two to twenty. SFFE scientists, Maddie, Cameron, and Jen have devoted an hour every other Monday to visit their friends at Duke. We can’t thank them enough! This joint effort has been going on since October 2018. Here’s what Duke had to say about us… “Science Fun for Everyone!” is bringing hands-on creative and imaginative science play to our unit, and sparking lots of interest in science! Every other Monday, two scientists come to the connection room for a fun filled afternoon of experiments and education. The kids have already enjoyed experiments relate do tlight, pressure , chemical reactions, and more! We are so excited to have this new educational resource for our patients!”
