- Staples
Instructions:
- Explore the lodestone specimen. Does it feel different than other rocks? Does it feel heavy or light?
- Hold the lodestone near the paperclips and staples.
- Observe the Looney Lodestone attracting the items with its natural magnetism.

How it Works:
A lodestone is a naturally magnetized piece of the mineral magnetite. Lodestones are naturally occurring magnets which can attract iron.
